Schmittenhöhe Walks - We drove from the centre of Zell am See to the Schmittenhohe cable car Car Park 1. We took the initially steep walk up path up the Sonnkogelweg. There had been early snow in October and there was still snow lying between the trees. Schmittenhohe mountain was capped with pure white snow.
We left the Sonnkogelweg once the Hochfalleck - Jaga Alm Restaurant was signed up As we climbed further up we saw the spectacular panorama of Lake Zell and Zell am See. The path the lead us back down to the car park.
