1 5 2019 . These spectacular Alpine reservoirs are found in the mountains high above Kaprun. They are used for hydro electric power produced by the power station 'Tauernkraftwerke Kaprun'. The reservoir area is tourist attraction because of the spectacular views over the towns of Kaprun and Zell am See as well as the reservoirs. To
get there drive or catch a bus from Kaprun in the direction of the Kitzsteinhorn.
Drive passed the parking areas of the Kitzsteinhorn. When you get to the
end of the valley there is a multistory car park at the visitor centre.
