Open May - early November from 8am to dusk. This wildlife park is found in the alpine valley on the road to the Grossglockner (Grossglocknersrasse) just before the Toll Road starts. It is only 14 miles from Kaprun. There are also buses there, although you would probably have to change at Zell am See. Some of the animals you wil see include brown bears, wolves and deer, all set in an amazing mountain background.

As you stroll around the wildlife park you will see animals you had always heard about but never thought you would see close up, bison, wild boar and lynx. One of the highlights of your visits will be the ibex, a type of mountain goat, unique to the Alps. You may even see them lock horns.

At the end of your visit you can take refreshments in the gasthof.
